You don't need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Many people seek therapy when they feel overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, disconnected from themselves, or uncertain about how to move forward. Others come to therapy to improve relationships, build confidence, process difficult experiences, or create positive changes in their lives.
If something is affecting your well-being, relationships, work, or quality of life, therapy may be a helpful place to explore it.
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. We'll discuss what brings you to therapy, your goals, relevant life experiences, and any questions you may have about the counselling process.
There is no pressure to share everything at once. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where we can begin building a plan that feels right for you.
The length of therapy varies depending on your goals, the challenges you are facing, and how much support you would like.
Some clients attend therapy for a few months to work through a specific concern, while others choose longer-term support for deeper personal growth, trauma recovery, or ongoing life challenges.
We will regularly review your goals and sense of wellbeing and adjust our work together as needed.
Not at all. Some people begin therapy with a clear goal, while others simply know that something doesn't feel right or that they want things to be different.
Part of our work together may involve clarifying what matters most to you and identifying the changes you would like to make.
Feeling nervous is completely normal. Meeting with a therapist for the first time can feel vulnerable, especially if you are used to handling things on your own.
My goal is to create a welcoming, non-judgmental environment where you can move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
Individual therapy sessions are $150 per single session.
I offer in-person sessions in Fredericton and virtual therapy for people in New Brunswick
My approach is collaborative and practical. I pull tools from approaches like ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy), Narrative, Mindfulness, and Interpersonal therapies. We choose what fits your unique brain and life story.
I support adults navigating a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, self-esteem, relationship challenges, loneliness and connection, life transitions, trauma, emotional overwhelm, communication difficulties, and neurodivergence-related challenges such as ADHD.
Many of the clients I work with are looking to better understand themselves, build healthier relationships, strengthen boundaries, and create meaningful changes in their lives.
